Product Description
This steering wheel remote control adapter allows you to continue using the factory-installed steering wheel remote control after replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket unit from a major brand, provided that the unit has ISO-standard connectors for power and speakers. If the vehicle is equipped with CAN bus technology, our adapters are also compatible with this system. Please check the exact vehicle specifications.
The connection to the steering wheel interface is made using the multi-lead included in the package. This lead can be easily adapted to the corresponding aftermarket unit in seconds.
The steering wheel adapter is compatible with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Macrom, Pioneer, Sony, and Zenec head units.
Devices from China and Android devices (with a programmable/configurable steering wheel remote control connection / Key1, Key2, GND) are also supported.
Basic functions of the steering wheel adapter:
- Volume up/down
- Next/previous track
- Source selection
** The following special functions are only available on adapters with corresponding notes (see product features):
- Trip computer control
- Parking brake
- Reverse gear
- Speed pulse
- Answer/end phone calls (NOTE: This feature depends on the radio!!)
