STP Legend 1.5 insulation mats are the ideal basis for effective vehicle insulation. Used as the first layer directly on the body panel, this vibration-absorbing material specifically reduces vibrations in doors, roof, and trunk lid – for a noticeably quieter driving experience and optimized acoustics in the interior.
With a material thickness of 1.5 mm and a generous sheet size of 750 x 470 mm, the mats are easy to cut to size and work with. The self-adhesive backing with waterproof high-performance adhesive ensures permanent, secure adhesion to metal surfaces. At the same time, the material protects the treated areas from moisture and prevents corrosion.
The special polymer mastic layer is complemented by a 50 µm thick aluminum foil with characteristic embossing. This combination ensures high vibration damping with an efficiency of 8.9% and remains reliably effective over a wide temperature range. In addition to effective noise reduction, STP Legend 1.5 also increases the overall rigidity of the vehicle structure.
