Important note:
Most of these models use Can-Bus technology. This means that there is no longer an analog ignition plus cable in the vehicle shaft. This adapter provides a replacement solution for this. The extra red cable must be connected to a positive ignition source in the vehicle (e.g., fuse box terminal 15), otherwise the car radio will not switch on with the ignition. Please secure this cable additionally with a sufficient fuse.
Factory radios often have a shape that is optimally adapted to the cockpit. Therefore, it is usually impossible to install a car radio or a double-DIN navigation system in the vehicle. tomzz Audio radio bezels allow you to replace the original radio with car radios, multimedia receivers, or navigation devices from popular A-brands. Before purchasing, please check the compatibility of the bezel with your device by comparing the dimensions in our pictures with your new radio. Additional parts such as radio adapter cables, antenna adapters, or Can Bus interfaces are usually required. If you want to continue using the built-in steering wheel controls, we recommend a steering wheel interface.
