This adapter provides a Ersatzlösung für missing Zündplus in the radio plug available. The extra red cable must be connected to an ignition plus source in the vehicle (e.g. fuse box terminal 15), otherwise the car radio will not switch on with the ignition. Please protect this cable additionally with a sufficient fuse. With these phantom adapters it is possible to continue using the built-in amplifier of the antenna even with a rear-add-on device. Antenna signal and power are recombined in the adapter and routed to the antenna. Connect the blue cable best suited is the automatic antenna connector of the car radio.
